It's another year of the international fireworks competition with music from Starobrno Ignis Brunensis. This festival takes place each year in the Central European city of Brno, below the Špilberk and Veveří castles. You can view the main part of the competition over the surface of the Brno Reservoir.

Line up


You don’t have to wait until the end of the year to see the best and most colourful fireworks. The competition features participants from all over Europe, including, of course, the Czech Republic. What kind of music will the organisers choose this year? Let yourself be surprised.

 

The fireworks always begin at 10:30 p.m., and their musical accompaniment is broadcast live on the radio, which can also be picked up by a mobile receiver. The competing fireworks then last approximately 20 minutes.
